It seems I have been looking for Karen my whole life. I guess you could say I have. But if it had not been for a series of mistakes on my part, it is likely we would have been like two ships passing in the night.

Fortunately for me Karen and I were able to finally meet. Meeting Karen has truly been the best thing that has ever happened to me. From the very first conversation with her I knew that I wanted to know everything about her. Soon we were talking all the time and sharing our stories and life experiences and getting to know each other and I knew that she was truly a wonderful person.

Meeting Karen is indescribable for me. Her personality lights up the room. Her smile is magnetic and contagious. When she smiles, everyone smiles. When she laughs there was a warmness that makes me feel like I have know her for my whole life.

For two wonderful weeks we spent all of our time together. Well I say together, almost always there was someone with us (family members). Her family ties were strong and soon I feel in love with the whole family. The two weeks flew by way too fast. At the end of the two weeks we were married, in a typhoon, and then painfully I had to leave her behind. So now, we are waiting for the day we will be together again. God willing, it will be soon.
